FAQ
Basically, bathing your pup will depend on a few things. First of all, if you see our pup is dirty don't waste time. Pop your pup in your bat tub and use some good Dog Shampoo. Dry them off well with a towel first, then use a blow dryer. You do not want your pup to ever stay wet, especially pups with undercoats. The undercoat will trap the moisture and can cause various forms of fungal infections.
Secondly, it is a good idea to wash your pup during the summer weekly if you can. Pups get hot just like we do, and a bath with some moisturizing shampoo will help them stay clean while not hurting their skin. We will soon have a review section for products, so keep an eye out for that to come!
Grooming prices are influenced by two main factors:
1. The overhead costs of the grooming shop, which include maintaining the facility and providing the necessary tools and space for groomers to work.
2. The time and skill required by the groomer to achieve the desired look for your dog. This can vary based on breed-specific grooming needs, coat type, the precision required (such as hand scissoring), and even the temperament of the pet, which may necessitate extra time to calm the dog and ensure its safety during the grooming process.
Yes, cats also require grooming. Mostly bathing and deshedding with a nail trim, but if you have the right tools, you can do it at home.
Cats are notorious for being aggressive when anyone other than their pawparent touches them, so pricing tends to reflect the time and risk required to groom a cat. We'll post tips on grooming cats at home soon, so keep an eye out!
